Come in for a FREE tour of Turner Hall during the MKE Doors Open Events! See what is beyond the ballroom and gym! Turner Hall is a designated National Historic Landmark and Milwaukee Landmark, and is on the State Register of Historic Places. It is home to the Milwaukee Turners, a progressive organization founded by German immigrants in 1853. The cream city brick structure includes a restaurant, gymnasium, ballroom, meeting and social areas, and an installation commemorating Turners who fell in the Civil War.
